The cooperation from TaekoPlan and Adidas has been started. The connection between our software and the adidas electronic body protectors is available. Current users of TaekoPlan can upgrade their license to use the new connection. This additional license can be bought separately. October 14th 2007 the system has been presented and run during the Adidas Cup in Nuernberg, Germany. That was the official start. Budoscore Netherlands will be reseller for the scoring machines and body protectors in the Netherlands.

The TaekoPlan connection is made with the Combat software from ATM, the software supplier of Adidas. Detailed information is available in the helpfile from TaekoPlan. If you have any questions about how to connect or other issues, please feel free to ask them by email.

On the Budoscore website you can read more information about the connection between their scoreboard system and the electronic body protectors.

The cooperation with Adidas also means that TaekoPlan will be present at a lot of tournaments all over the world. The exclusive agreement makes TaekoPlan the preferred software supplier during the tournaments where Adidas is present with their highly rated electronic body protectors. Some examples are the German Open 2008 and the French speaking World Cup in Gabon.

In 2009 the TaekoPlan software will be bundled with the EBP's. A special 'Lite' version will be available. Also the BudoScore scoreboard system will be bundled exclusively.

TaekoPlan Software Update

Due to more extensive testing of the Beta, the new 1.5 version will be officially released at the end of july. This will solve many small issues and will have reworked code for important parts of the software.

A new update of TaekoPlan has been released. This is version 1.33.0 and is a major release

New: Upgraded poomsae software, adding extra rounds and more
Fix: ID Card issue crashed output; after that no printing possible anymore; only restart would solve.
Fix: Timetable drag&drop failed sometimes when table was scrolled down.
Fix: Poomsae planning drag&drop failed after scrolling hor or vert..
New: Better readability category names (longer and more clear).
Fix: Clear poomsaeresults when tournaments initialized.
Fix: Security rebuilt. Password protected modules working again normally.
New: For excel import of competitos, if no team or country is given, defaults can be selected. They will apply for the full import.
Fix: After importing an excelsheet, a lot of empty competitor records were created. They are now deleted after import.
New: Check on duplicates in age category abbreviations.

As this is a new release, please make a backup of your previous version in case you have to revert to that version.

It is recommended to upgrade to this version by either downloading the new setup which is available in the downloads section or by using the live update feature.

After downloading, you don't have to uninstall your previous version. Your data will remain intact. Just run the new setup.
Because of the changed multilanguage feature, you will need to acquire a new license for the language you specify, if you have an existing version lower then 1.9.

If you have a lower version, it's not recommended to just upgrade, as you will definitely get a large amount of errors due to missing components.
